Important Rights!

** A federal employee injured by accident while in the performance of duty has the initial right to select a physician of his/her choice to provide necessary treatment.  The supervisor shall immediately authorize examination and appropriate medical care by use of Form C16 issued to either a United States medical officer/hospital or any duly qualified physician/hospital of the employer’s choice.

** CFR 10.516 OWCP shall advise the employee that it has found the offered work to be suitable and afford the employee 30 days to accept the job or present any reasons to counter OWCP’s finding suitability.
